These Terms of Purchase (“Terms”) govern your purchase of products (including handbags, wallets, apparel, and other accessories, “Products”) from Dooney & Bourke via our website (doaney.com, “Website”). By placing an order on the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other applicable policies posted on the Website.
1. Acceptance of Orders
1.1 Order Submission & Confirmation
When you submit an order on the Website, you are making a binding offer to purchase the selected Products. We reserve the right to accept or reject your order in our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where:
- Products are out of stock or unavailable;
- Product pricing or description contains errors (e.g., typos, incorrect formatting);
- We suspect fraudulent activity (e.g., unauthorized payment methods).
You will receive an email confirmation once your order is accepted and processed. This confirmation does not guarantee immediate shipment (see Section 3 for shipping details).
1.2 Order Changes/Cancellations
Once an order is processed (i.e., after you receive the order confirmation email), changes or cancellations are not guaranteed. 3. Shipping & Delivery

- Delivery: After processing, delivery takes 6-12 days. This timeline applies to all orders (domestic and international) and no additional fees apply for shipping (all Products ship for free).
3.2 Delivery Responsibilities
- We will ship Products to the address you provide during checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure the shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect address information.
- Once Products are shipped, we will provide a tracking number (if available) via email. Risk of loss or damage to Products passes to you upon delivery (i.e., once the shipping carrier confirms delivery to your address).
- We are not liable for delivery delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as weather, carrier disruptions, or customs hold-ups (for international orders).
4. Returns & Refunds
4.1 Return Eligibility
You may return Products for a refund or exchange within 60 days of delivery, provided that:
- Products are unused, in their original condition (e.g., tags attached, original packaging intact);
- Products are not personalized, custom-made, or final sale (final sale items will be clearly marked on the Product page).
4.2 Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our customer service team at [email protected] to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. Include your order number and reason for return in the request.
- Package the Product securely, include the RA number on the package, and ship it to our headquarters address (214 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield, Illinois, 62704, United States of America). You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect in the Product or an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped).
4.3 Refund Processing
- We will inspect returned Products upon receipt. If approved, refunds will be issued within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
- Refunds will be in USD and include the full purchase price of the Product (excluding any return shipping costs you incurred, unless the return is our responsibility).
- Shipping costs for the original order are non-refundable (as original shipping is free for all orders).
5. Product Information & Warranty

We strive to provide accurate descriptions, images, and sizing information for all Products on the Website. However, we do not guarantee that Product colors, textures, or dimensions will be exact to in-person items (due to variations in device displays or manufacturing). If you receive a defective Product (e.g., material flaws, craftsmanship issues) within 30 days of delivery, contact us immediately. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.

- Dooney & Bourke shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, inconvenience) arising from your purchase or use of Products;
